Ice Cream Cone Birthday

Whew!! It is SO hot out there today!! Summer has definately arrived!! In honor of summer I thought I'd go with a card today that could cool us all down ;) Yay for ice cream cones!! Yum!!

Ingredients:
Cardstock: Whisper White (8 1/2x 5 1/2, scored @ 4 1/4); Pretty in Pink (1-scallop punch, 1- 1/2" circle punch); Barely Banana (1-scallop punch, 1- 1/2" circle punch); Certainly Cerely (1-scallop punch, 1- 1/2" circle punch); Very Vanilla (1-scallop punch); Close to Cocoa (1- scallop punch); Creamy Caramel (1 - 1 3/8" square punch)
Ink: Creamy Caramel (to sponge the creamy caramel cone and all scallops accept close to cocoa and all 1/2'' circles ); Chocolate chip (to sponge close to cocoa scallop), Close to Cocoa (for the Happy Birthday)
Stamp Sets: Cheery Chat, Sanded BG
Miscellaneous: Dazzling Diamonds

To make the Ice Cream Cone:
1) punch out the cone with creamy caramel cardstock and the 1 3/8" square punch
2) ink Background stamp (I used Sanded) and stamp the square
3) Cut off one side of the square at a slight angle. Use that same piece, flipped, to cut of the opposite side (this insures that both sides are equal - and no ice cream will leak out ;) )

To make the Ice Cream:
1) Punch out all the scallops with the scallop circle punch
2) Cut the scallops straight across so that you have 9 scallops on the piece you'll use as your ice cream
3) sponge the edges with creamy caramel ink
Stack the ice cream ontop of the cone. You can either adhere the pieces to eachother or to the cardstock directly. It's up to you.
Thanks for stopping by!! Stay "cool"!!
