Flower Pot Card

I had been seeing these flower pot cards around on other blogs that i follow and thought that I would give them a try. I really like them!! The ones I had seen were the ones using the Close to Cocoa Cardstock as a pot, but I thought Really Rust reminded me a lot of the Terra Cotta pots my mom used to use.

If you pull up on the flowers, you can write on the white insert a short note.

Ingredients:
Cardstock: Whisper White (2 1/4x4 1/4); Really Rust (1/2x3 1/2, 9x3 1/2, 2 1/2X4 1/2), Punch out 1 of each color with the 5 petal flower punch: Ruby Red, Cameo Coral, Whisper White, Barely Banana, and then punch out 5 with Old Olive. Only Orange (punch out 5 -1/2" circle punches).
Stamp Sets: Sanded BG
Ink: Really Rust
Miscellaneous: Rounded Edge Punch (for scalloped edge), Sticky Strip
To make the Flower Pot take the cardstock that is 3 1/2x9" long and score at 2" and 5 1/2". Fold so that the 2" fold is going one direction and the 5 1/2" fold is going the other. Make scalloped edge on the 2" side of the card and stamp BG stamp on the front of the card. Lift scallop fold up and place on paper cutter. Put the 2" fold on the Divider and the 5 1/2" fold on the 1/2" mark and cut cardstock. Repeat with the other side. Your Pot is now made. Let me know if you have any questions on the rest of the card! Enjoy!! And thanks for stopping by!!
